VC&A's solution uses a combination of X-band Doppler radar and the V-Alert fence sensor. The DMT X-band radar offers both ground or maritime surveillance as well as drone detection 24/7. It operates in X-band which is ideal in challenging rain and fog conditions. The radar can be connected to both the security operations center as well as the base’s camera systems. The V-Alert solid-state fence sensor system maintains reliability even in strong wind or rain conditions – if numerous sensors show similar characteristics, no alarm is generated until such time as one or more sensors display different characteristics as a result of an intrusion attempt. The system offers extremely high detection levels with extremely low false alarm rates.Click to enlarge
