In the Base of the Future, we propose the DANNAR Mobile Power Station® (MPS) thus transforming the vehicles procured for base operations requirements, into dual-use energy resilience assets.
In addition to increased efficiency, reduced maintenance and operating costs, these units would be uniquely able to provide an important layer of power resilience to the installation. With a relatively small MPS fleet, each could be outfitted to hold over 500 kWh of energy, the installation would be able to store more than 50 mWh of power in advance of a storm. It would be mobile and able to proceed directly to the point of need, providing invaluable flexibility to those working to restore operations.
