Who are we:
BAES working with ADAT is developing a system integrating AR glasses with an Artificial Intelligence Reality (AIR) capability to enhance aircraft maintenance on the flightline and in the hangar. The maintainer’s glasses provide enhanced information to identify issues. By integrating SOPs and manuals, on-the-spot guidance is provided to the maintainer. This combination allows automated detection of faults, support to maintenance activities delivering improved outcomes while reducing labor needs. The system can be used at the home base or on deployment and on the flightline, at the intermediate level and at the ALC depot. It can be used with aircraft of all sizes and types, systems and infrastructure.
