Who are we:
USAF is currently using some scanners to measure the thickness of applied paint but the results are presented in a suboptimal format. Our Augmented Reality application converts the output of such scanners into AR animated overlay, improving the user experience and increasing the utility of the scanner. Leveraging AR for users’ immediate field of view will enable faster, more accurate identification of over/under painted surface, leading to more thorough painting and stripping activities.
Our Augmented/Mixed Reality solution (coupled with Terahertz scanner) provides directions and overlay of information, and paint layer depths on the surface being scanned to aid paint coating/stripping staff perform faster and more efficiently.
