Who are we:
The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is a leader in providing effective Additive Manufacturing and related solutions to the Air Force. UDRI owns or operates more than $30 million worth of AM-related equipment, and has qualified and produced more than 2,300 AM-produced metal and polymer parts for the DoD, more than 215 of which are flying on aircraft, with an additional 210 parts currently in the qualification process. For the AM-related Challenge, UDRI proposes a comprehensive, five-step process which builds on the state-of-the-art and Air Force best practices and is capable of integrating innovations from all 18 technology areas associated with this Challenge to support the Air Force’s current and future needs in this arena.
