7866 - Base Security Challenge - Perimeter Security Mobile Tethered sUAS for Perimeter Security Awareness for Air Force Bases SAMS-T is a tethered sUAS system that can be mounted on any standard vehicle for immediate and continuous “eye-in-the-sky” surveillance providing situational awareness for perimeter security of critical infrastructure and military bases. The SAMS-T is fully autonomous and does not not require any operator on site. The SAMS-T includes the option to release the tether while in the air and continue to a 40 minute ISR mission before returning to precise automatic landing inside it's ground station. The sUAS will take-off and land precisely while the vehicle is in motion up to 25 mph without any human intervention.Click to enlarge
