The High Efficiency Dehumidification System (HEDS) was created at the request of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to solve the $multi-billion problems caused by overly complex and failure prone HVAC systems that actually cause mold growth and corrosion.
USACE testing proved HEDS cuts RH-control energy use by over 50%, while tightly controlling temperature and RH%
HEDS is the simplest possible way to control temperature and RH and thus will have the lowest overall lifecycle costs.
We developed an anti-viral version of HEDS that can capture or kill 99.999% of COVID sized particles. The standard HEDS unit has a 95% rate, and the requirement for most hospital operating rooms is only 75% to 84% capture rate, with no “kill” aspect required
